If you are a new guitar player or a beginner, this is the right website for you !
Here you will learn more about the instrument, its body parts and strings.

A typical guitar has between 21 and 24 frets, it is only very rarely you see a guitar with more frets. On the image to you left you notice the third fret and fifth fret are marked by a dot. Fret 3,5,7,9,12,15,17,19,21 and 24 are marked. These make it easier to find your frets when playing with music theory.
You will learn music theory later with the help of the frets.
Body parts

Let’s take a look at some important body parts of the guitar.
- This is the head of the guitar, the head has 6 tuning pegs which are used for tuning the strings.
- This is the neck of the guitar with the fretboard.
- This is a pickup, most electric guitars have 3 pickups. These devices convert the strings vibrations into electricity.
- This switch decides which pickup is active. Switch it to the bottom “Treble/lead/bridge” position to make your tone sharper. Switch it to the top “bass/rhythm/neck” position to get a much fuller tone.
- The guitar in the picture has 2 tone knobs; one for each pickup. The third knob is to control the volume.
- This is the guitars output here you connect the guitar to an AMP using a cable.
